The Norwegian Wonderland Blanket
Welcome to my Norwegian Wonderland design!
The Norwegian Wonderland blanket is a Tunisian in the round project, a very addictive technique to crochet.
In 2024 I have launched 9 sets with 3 sizes of squares each, they are all available in my Ravelry store.
This blanket is designed with 9 squares of 90 stitches each and has a great tunisian double envelop border. In this pattern you will receive the 9-90 stitches squares charts and a written instruction in english.
I used a DK weight Yarn what gives a generous size of 160cmx160cm.
You can add squares to make the Blanket bigger, or make it smaller whatever you want.
I found out that with a little help this technique is easy to learn. So when you’re new to this way to crochet I’ve made a few tutorials at my YouTube channel (mycrochetprojectbydidi) to help you out:

In december 2024 there will be a Tunisian envelop border tutorial available too!
Yarn and hooks
For Tunisian in the Round (TIR) you need a double ended hook size 5mm.
This is personal so please try a test piece for yourself to see what hooksize and stitch extension you prefer.
Have fun and please share them at socials with #MCP #NWL so I can find them or join our Facebook :
