The colorful stripes of the Nova Crochet Cowl reminds me of a rainbow, and Nova means “new”, just like the new feeling after a thunderstorm, when there is a rainbow in the sky.

This pattern is made using a combination of Herringbone Half Double Crochet and Slip Stitch. This combination creates a very squishy and pillowy fabric that is so warm and cozy. This cowl pattern is great to use up any leftover yarn scraps you might have. I hope this cowl gives new life to any yarn scraps you use!

(If you are having issues with meeting gauge, try using US M/N-13 (9mm) for odd MC rows and size US N/P-15 (10mm) for even CC rows.)
