The Number Hundred
As its name suggests, this is my 100th published pattern and as such, I admit I consider it a milestone. I am happy that its release coincides with the end-of-the-year holidays season and that is why this pattern is a “bonus” for those who participated in The Gift Ahead Collection. It is also available individually, of course. I made a point of creating a “small-scale” accessory pattern this time; as you may have noticed, I tend to offer hat patterns during the Holidays of the End of the Year, namely on New Year’s Day, and I want you to be able to knit a “little luxury” and make use of some special skein of DK yarn. I used FibreCo Luma yarn for the prototype, an incredibly soft yarn that I highly recommend; I decided to keep things simple and let the yarn bloom. As you will see, rib and twist do all the work here!
