The Ocean Waves Shawl
The Ocean Waves Triangular Shawl Crochet Pattern by Froggity Frog
This maritime themed design is inspired by the sea on a calm day. The ripples of the ocean will be seen within your scarf even after blocking to give you the sense of being surrounded by the calm seas.

This beautifully simple but eye catching design can be worn as either a shawl wrapped around the shoulders, or as a scarf like you see in the pictures, making it a versatile accessory that will suit any spring occasion as an everyday accessory or to dress up an outfit for a special occasion.
This shawl is all made in a single piece using 1 cake of yarn
I would class this as an intermediate Level crochet design
This shawl is designed to fit an adult lady, but can be made bigger or smaller by making fewer or more repeats of the pattern
The yarn I used in the pictures is Alize Bella Ombre Batik, shade 7407 900m yarn cake. This is a 100% cotton yarn, but you can use any 4 ply yarn to make this pattern.
The pattern calls for a 4mm hook and all instructions are given in US terms
