The Octo- Gnome
by Val Cox
i originally planned to use these flat Gnomes to make some bunting, but when I realised how perfectly they fit together to make a circle the Octo- Gnome was born.
I knit them with leftover double knitting (light worsted) yarn and sirdar funky fur for the beards. They are knit in the round. You could use different weights of yarn to get smaller or larger Gnomes.
This pattern is in my Gnome Your Home ebook, along with some other fun Gnome based patterns. Full instructions are given for assembling, backing and hanging your Octo- Gnome, as well as how you can make greetings cards from the Gnomes instead.
