• DESCRIPTION

The hat is easy to make, with advanced beginner knitters in mind.

Using knit and purl stitches, you will create ribbing, learn to knit in the round and it will also introduce you to decreasing and shaping.

This hat will be super cozy to wear in the cold weather.

Yarn

1 x ball (or skein) of super bulky yarn in the main color (MC)

50g of super bulky yarn in the coordinating color – (CC)
Lion Brand wool ease thick and quick in Wheat (402) and spice (135) or something similar suitable for size 10.00mm (US 15) needles.

Super bulky weight – 106 yards.

Needles

Set of 10.00mm (US 15) 16″ circular knitting needles.

You may also need a set of 10.00mm (US 15) double-pointed needles to complete the decreases for the crown.

• SKILLS

Level – Easy

This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, increasing, decreasing and working in the round.

• SIZING

This hat pattern was made for size – 4 to 12 years.

Circumference = 20-21″

Length w/o pom = 8.5″
