This pullover is inspired by the first raglan I ever made. As anyone who’s been a novice knitter before can imagine, it turned out completely different than the pattern stated. But I loved the accidental diagonal stitch pattern and unique color-blocking so much, I decided to keep it and love it. Turns out, a lot of other people love it, too! So, I took the stitching back to the drawing board and transformed it into The Oopsie Raglan!

And what’s not to love? It’s a joy to knit - the perfect combination of simple, logical construction with enough variation to keep you engaged and excited the whole time. It’s got plenty of room to customize, with different options for cuffs/hems, color-blocking, and collar shaping. And it’s unique! The diagonally striped texture will make this pullover a standout in your wardrobe. I can personally attest to the fact that it will quickly become a staple.

Any worsted-weight or aran yarn will work here! You’ll need 900-2000 yards total depending on color-blocking and size. All yarn information can be found in the pattern!
