A timeless unisex Fisherman’s rib cardigan for 0-3 years. The Fisherman’s rib produces a thick squishable texture, similar to (but easier than) brioche. In cotton it makes the perfect layer for breazier days and in wool it’s an irresistably snuggly layer for winter!

This cardigan is worked flat in 5 pieces and then sewn together using matress stitch. The button band is picked up and knit afterwards.

0-6 m - 255 meters DK yarn
6-12 m - 340 meters DK yarn
1-2 y - 425 meters DK yarn
2-3 y - 510 meters DK yarn

0-6m & 6-12m – 3 buttons
1-2y & 2-3y – 4 buttons

TENSION 19 sts and 34 rows to 10cm square in pattern
