The Pale Shimmer - Bleka Skimret Hat
The Pale Shimmer was originally designed by Annika Malmström-Bladini in 1959, and it was recreated as a kit by Pernille Silfverberg in 2016.
Pattern yarns for Bleka Skimret are hand-dyed by Pernille Silfverberg using original AngoraGarnet yarns. One of the pattern yarns in the hat is lambswool, just like the original. For the Pullover/cloak and hat, Bleka Skimret is knitted in light blue angora yarn, which is dyed at the spinning mill to achieve even coloring.
The pattern uses ten colors and up to three colors in one row.
