You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl confidently, bind off stitches, sew up simple seams and weave in ends.

August 2014 Update: The Parkway Pillow pattern has been updated to include more detailed finishing instructions with 12 close-up tutorial photos. Pattern includes specific instructions for how to sew up beautiful seams.

This pattern is written in standard U.S. knitting terms.

SUPPLIES:
I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick in the color ‘Glacier’ for the blue pillow shown in photos.

I used Loops & Threads “Cozy Wool” in the color ‘Fleece’ for the white pillow shown in the photos. The pattern will work with many super bulky yarns.

I used an inexpensive 16” x 16” pillow form purchased at a craft store. The finished pillow is slightly larger with the knitted cover.
