Strong, and powerful, the Queen of the underworld but also the bringer of Spring, contrast is the main theme of this jumper. You can be a Hell-raising infernal nymph but also enjoy the bright colours of the change from Winter. This circular yoke jumper is knit seamlessly from the top down, featuring bold, high-contrast doodle motifs to represent Persephone herself.

Kidnapped by Hades to live in the Underworld, Persephone was the sweet daughter of the goddess Demeter. Associated with changing of seasons and rebirth, but also leading the dead between the mortal realm and the afterlife, Persephone is the queen of contrast. Use high-contrast colours in your yarn choices, to knit a jumper the goddess of Spring would be proud of.
