Gauge Swatch:
Chain 5, HDC in the second chain from your hook and in each stitch across, CH 1 and turn, HDC in each stitch across, CH 1 and turn, HDC in each stitch across and finish off. You should have three rows of HDC. My measurements were 1.5 inches wide by 1.5 inches long.

If your gauge swatch is smaller, use a 6.0mm Hook
