Let your spirit and needles run wild and free across the great, expansive plains of this top-down, triangular shawl. Featuring an addictive geometric lace pattern, and a twist on the garter stitch for rich textured effect. You will love how this shawl spreads its wings wide, to wrap you up.


Yarns Used: Forbidden Woolery Babel (Fingering; 70% Merino, 20% Yak1, 10% Nylon; 435 yards/100 grams). 2 skeins in Ambrosia.
Needle: US5 (3.75mm). A long circular needle is recommended, in order to accommodate the large number of stitches as the shawl grows.
Yardage: 870 yards (796m).
Gauge: 25 sts and 30 rows=4” (10cm) in Lace Stitch Pattern (after blocking).
25 sts and 40 rows=4” (10cm) in Elongated Garter Stitch (after blocking).
Gauge is not crucial to this project, but varying gauges can affect yardage and final measurements.
Other Notions: Stitch markers, darning needle.
Final Measurements: A: 60” (152cm); B: 30” (76cm).
