The Plexus Headband & Brim Beanie
The Plexus Headband and Brim Beanie has the prettiest trellis effect formed by using simple cable and wrapped stitches, just perfect for all seasons as it comes in a whopping SIX yarn weights, from aran/worsted right up to the heaviest super chunky! As with all my patterns, it’s been thoughtfully written and thoroughly tech edited as well as tested by my amazing team. Knitted in the round from the bottom up, the headband pattern has a choice of two edge options and there is a bonus Brim Beanie pattern too! The repeat is a multiple of four stitches over four rounds and size can be adjusted accordingly.
Skill Level ~
Adventurous Beginner. There are written and video tutorials to ensure success every step of the way, with or without a cable needle.
Method ~
Knitted in the round from the bottom up using a simple pattern repeat.
Size ~
Approximately 20 cm/8” wide by 11.5 cm/4.5” tall (with slight variance depending on yarn weight) to fit adult size 56 cm/22” head circumference. Due to the nature of the design, there is a larger negative ease that allows for the perfect fit.
