This is a warm scarf with cozy pockets. The entire scarf is worked flat and the pockets are seamed. A lovely lace pattern for the body of the scarf and seed stitch is used to make the pockets extra sturdy.

I used two skeins of yarn to make this scarf, doubling the yarn to create thick, sturdy pockets and chunky lace. This is mill-spun yarn that I hand dyed. This yarn is created from the fleeces of Annabelle, Barnaby, Digory, and Dodge. Four of our sweet sheeps - mama, papa, and twin baby boys. :)
You can see more about our critters on our blog - http://redeemingacres.blogspot.com/

It would be interesting to see someone knit this scarf in a solid color or use two complimenting variegated yarns together. Whatever you make, be sure to share it with me the rest of Ravelry. :)

Please contact me if you have any questions about this pattern and I’d be happy to help where I can.
