The Pompeanie is an intermediate / advanced pattern. It is worked in rounds, slip stitching the end of the round to the beginning of the round. The pattern includes instructions to make The Pompeanie wider or narrower.

The gauge for the brim is 5 rows = 2 inches x 2 inches. The gauge for the main hat is rows 1 to 5 by 8 stitches = 2 inches x 2 inches.

Materials needed:

1 skein medium (4) yarn – approximately 225 - 250 yards
5.0 mm hook
5.5 mm hook
Scissors
Darning needle
Scissors
Pompom (optional)
