This quick, easy and stylish slouchy crochet hat pattern only needs one 4 oz (100 g) skein of worsted or Aran weight yarn to complete, plus oddments of light worsted (8ply/double knitting) yarn in two other colors, so it’s a great stash-buster project.

Instructions are given for small, medium and large-sized hats, and because the ribbed band is so stretchy (and returns to its original size well) the range of hat sizes will suit most people.
