I love October! Everything about it. My birthday month, the crisp fall weather, the pumpkins (and pumpkin recipes) and of course Halloween. When I first learned to crochet, one of the first things I made was a little pumpkin. This is still one of my favorite things to make and easily adjustable to be bigger or smaller. They make for great fall décor or a tiny accent piece. Both of my kids can’t seem to get enough of them in all different colors.

Note: this pattern is easily adjustable using a thicker yarn and larger corresponding hook.

Materials:
4.5 mm hook
Worsted weight yarn in your preferred colors for a pumpkin, stem and vine
Poly-fill
Darning needle (optional)
