The Pretty Pineapple Purse is a fun and flirty project perfect for summer!

This pattern does call for Faux Bamboo Purse handles in the size range from 7-9” you can find them online or even at your local craft store. The first 2 pictures show a bag I made using 9” handles and the last pic shows a bag I made using 7” handles. I like both!

The body of the purse is worked in panels but you do not fasten off. You are working the front side down to the bottom, then back up to the back side top. You will then construct the tunnels for the handles and crochet them onto your bag. You may substitute sewing them on.

I chose to use Caron One Pound because I feel like it is a “sturdy” worsted weight yarn that doesn’t stretch out. You may choose to line your bag with fabric.

Please message me with any questions you have about this pattern, I am always happy to help out fellow makers!
