The Princess Marina Toque
This pattern is
available for free.
This little toque in pill-box shape is favoured by Princess Marina, and her photographs show her frequently wearing a hat in this style, while a number of similar models are included in her trousseau. Here it is seen in two aspects, one finished with fringe, for the youthful wearer, the other with a feather mount, which is smart for the older woman.
MATERIALS: 2 hanks of chenille, 1 bone crochet hook.
MEASUREMENTS: The hat is made to fit a 22-23 inch head.
The pattern uses UK crochet terms, so the hat is crocheted in dc (uk) or sc (us)
