Feeling frustrated by all the hate and oppression going on in the world? Yeah, me too.

This is a thick, warm, reversible beanie that can help you show your frustration! It’s knitted using the technique of double knitting, making it super cushy & cosy.
It features the symbol of the ‘protest fist’, used throughout history to rage against oppression, racism, and injustice, encircled in the female symbol. The rainbow represents the LGBTQIA+ community.
This beanie was designed in response to the awful political landscape of 2025, and released for International Women’s Day of the same year.

Materials needed:
3.5 mm circular needle (optional- for rib)
3.75mm circular knitting needle (40 cm)
3.75 mm Double Pointed Needles
10 ply yarn in 2 colours
(75 grams in each)

Stitch markers
Yarn needle

Button

It is a ‘one size fits most’ beanie, though if you feel you might need a larger size, use 4mm needles instead of the listed 3.75

This beanie used just over half a ball of the Bendigo Woollen Mills cotton. The Rainbow yarn used it one I hand dyed myself, so there will not be an exact match, but find your favourite rainbow yarn or just general favourite colour for the contrasting colour!
