Mr. and Mrs. Pumpkats (Pumpkin Cats) are crocheted from the top down. No need to sew! The arms and tail are crocheted separately and then attached securely to the body while you are crocheting. The legs are then shaped by dividing the body in two and crocheting down further. The optional overalls, dress, and hat are all removable.
The final touch comes by crocheting the ears directly to the top of the head - no sewing again!
