The Purl Scout Sash
Need a way to display all of those Purl Scout badges you’ve earned? Now you can knit your own Purl Scout sash!
This sash is knit in the round as a long closed tube with tapered pointy ends. Once knitting is complete, the angled ends of the tube are sewn together to create a closed loop.
This pattern is written for one size but can easily be adjusted by knitting a shorter or longer length. To get an idea of what length is best for you, I recommend measuring from the top of your shoulder to the middle of your opposite hip. Double this number to get the length for the main body of the sash. Then add 14”/35.5cm to account for the angled ends. This will give you a ballpark length to aim for, but it’s definitely best to check your sizing as you go by trying it on! The sash pictured in the pattern is 60”/152.4cm in length.
