Once you have chained the correct number with the larger hook, switch to the hook you will be working with on the rest of the panel (if you chained with H, switch to G etc)

I improvised this blanket pattern as a wedding gift for a friend of mine whose name mean’s Queen. I love cables, and wanted to create a sort of simple, old-world charm that I think comes across quite nicely in this blanket. I’m sure it can be adjusted for smaller versions, but I have only done the Queen sized bed spread which measures 60”x80”.
