The Rain
After seeing some pictures and news footage of the hurricane damage and flooding in Texas I was overwhelmed by feeling like I needed to help but not sure how. This pattern idea literally woke me up in the night, demanding to be made as a charity pattern.
100% of the money made on the sale of this pattern will be donated to charities that assist with natural disaster relief in Canada and the US. Always.
This is a straightforward pattern with alternating rows of half double crochet and a vintage stitch originally from DMC (that I cannot find a proper name for)
Measurements are included so you can adjust to any gauge or yarn weight that makes you happy! I’ll be adding a schematic type drawing as soon as I can to assist as well!
Notions: I used 5 buttons in a range of sizes so that when the drop is laid flat, they look like the shine.
Thank you for helping me use my skills to support disaster relief! Check out my IG for updates on how much money we raise :D
