The Rat King

It is a crochet pattern in PDF (605KB) containing 4 pages teaching how to make a Rat Amigurumi.
The pattern has pictures showing the process and it is written in US Terminology.

Size: around 25 cm/ 10”

Skill level: easy, but it requires some experience in making Amigurumi as it has color changes and sewing parts.

“The Rat King was designed with a lot of love for this Christmas!
I made it inspired by The Nutcracker Ballet.
The shape of this amigurumi is unique, elongated so the kids will have a different feeling in holding it and a lot of fun playing with it!

Materials:

• Crochet hook 2.5 mm (the hook size can vary depending of the yarn you choose to use);
• Cotton Blend Plain yarn – DK by Knitcraft : colors Light Blue, Pink, Purple, Red, Black and Gold;
• Stitch marker (to mark the first stitch of the round);
• Scissors;
• 2 pink plastic safety eyes of 15 mm (or other color you may have);
• Fiberfill;
• Tapestry needle;
• White felt;
• Pins to hold the pieces in place before sewing;

Example of how it is written:

Body (light blue, gold, purple, red and black):
Working in continuous rounds. Starting with light blue.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in a Mr 6 / or ch 2, sc x 6 in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 2: inc x 6 12
Rnd 3: (sc, inc) x 6 18
Rnd 4: (sc x 2, inc) x 6 24
Rnd 5: (sc x 3, inc) x 6 30
