This pattern includes directions for The Red Thread, a shawl/wrap that is knitted and designed for the exhibition ”The Red Thread – Literally”. (W: 250 centimeters, H: 56 centimeters)

The middle part of the shawl is worked in one piece from the short side. The edge is knitted in the round.

The pattern is written for a knitter with medium skills, a knitter who is able to work 2-color mosaic knitting, make increases and pick up stitches.

This pattern calls for a yarn with a 20 stitch per 10 centimeters gauge in ´mosaic knitting, i.e. a yardage of approximately 150 meters per 100 grams.

Materials: yarn, yarn needle, stitch markers and knitting needles.
