The Reredos Series is based on the ornate and intricate screens that can be found behind altars and in sacristies in many churches. The Reredos Rose, Tile One of the series, depicts a particular screened case that the priests at my grandmother’s church kept in the sacristy. All patterns in this series can be worked independently, or together.

This pattern is crafted by using the mosaic overlay crochet method. Any size hook and any yarn can be used, and yardage is dependent on what sized project you wish to create.
