If you can knit, purl and knit two together, you can make this hat!

I designed the Retro Camp Beanie after my love of vintage colors and all things retro! No matter which colors you choose, this beanie will have a retro look because of the stripe placement. A wide, textured panel adds an extra touch that I just love! Make a fold-over brim or a single brim. Add a pom if you like. It’s up to you!

Hat was written to fit head size from 21 to 22.5 inches, but the slouch/stretch is very forgiving. There are also two options to slightly shorten the length if desired.

Needles:
Size 4 mm (US size 6, UK size 8) 16” circular needles.
Size 4 mm DPNs for decreasing the top of hat.

Approximate yardage needed for each color:
Main color: 132 yards
Contrast color 1: 11 yards
Contrast color 2: 15 yards
Contrast color 3: 36 yards
