This is a super chunky / super bulky beanie that can be worked up in under 2 hours. The pattern is relatively simple if you are familiar front post crochet and using the back or front loops only. It’s also very versatile, as my testers demonstrated, so you would have no problem in shortening or lengthening the height of the beanie.

My wonderful testers told me they all made these up in 1 to 2 hours, they also said it was a versatile pattern being able to extend the length of the body or wear the brim over or flat. Although this pattern is for an adult size only, one brilliant tester wanted to try a child size version so used Loops and Threads Charisma, (Bulky, 109 yards / 100 meters) in ‘Northern Lights’ and a 6mm hook, it took one skein and fit a 2 yr old.
