The Ridge cardigan is a simple classic cardi with a bit of texture for visual interest. Alternating purl ridges at the raglan yoke and cuffs add some detail and knitterly appeal. The cardi is worked top down, raglan yoke first then the body is split from sleeves and worked to hem. Sleeves then are picked up and worked down to the cuff in the round. No seams in sight!

The cardi is dedicated to The Ridge, Vancouver landmark that no longer exists, a theatre and bowling alley that was home to Vancouver International film fest and a personal favorite!
