The Roadrailer Beanie
DETAILS:
The Roadrailer beanie is a beginner knitting pattern that is beautifully textured to keep you and little ones warm and cozy during the colder months. It is suitable for knitters of all levels who are looking for a fun and beginner friendly project.
This pattern includes instructions for FIVE SIZES:
Adult woman (10+ years), Child (3-9 years), Toddler (1-3 years), Baby (6-12 months), Baby (0-6 months)
YARN:
I used Malabrigo Rasta (100% Merino Wool) to make this beautiful beanie. If that yarn is not available to you, any super bulky yarn (weight 6) of your choice can be used.
Approx. 72 yards - Adult size
Approx. 68 yards - Child size
Approx. 46 yards - Toddler size
Approx. 43 yards - Baby size (6-12 months)
Approx. 40 yards - Baby size (0-6 months)
NEEDLES:
Circular Knitting Needles US 13 (9 mm) and US 15 (10 mm), 16”
Double Pointed Needles US 15 (10 mm), (Optional)
SKILL LEVEL :
Beginner
GAUGE:
4” x 4” = 9 stitches x 12 rows of stockinette (using 10 mm needles)
