This pattern is for a crochet mandrake!
I used a worsted weight yarn like a red heart super saver and a 3.5 mm hook. For the leaves I used a bigger yarn and a 4mm hook.
You can however use smaller yarn just adjust your hook size! Some of my testers used smaller and and it looked really cute!

This pattern has been tested by over 5 people

Written in US terminology.
A ball of 100g worsted weight is enough to make this item.
I used Darkside Crochet eyes 20 mm.
The yarn I used for the leaves is tangled pixie yarn.

I would say this pattern is for a beginner as long as you have made a few amigurumis before.
