The ropes of life
This sweater is knit seamlessly from the top down.
You will start by knitting the back flatly until both armholes, then
each front is added separately until you reach the armholes.
The sweater is then joined and the body is knit in the round. The
sleeves are knit in the round at the end.
A large cable panel is present in the back and front. You have the
choice of following the chart or the written explanations.

a- Bust circumference: 30.3 (34¾, 38, 42)46, 49½, 54 inches;
78 (88, 97, 106)117, 126, 137 cm.
b- Yoke depth: 7.5 (8, 8½, 9½)10½, 11¾, 12¾ inches; 19 (21,
22, 24)27, 30, 32½ cm.
c- Sleeve length from underarm to cuff: 20 inches; 50 cm.
d- Length from underarm to hem: 17 inches; 43 cm measured
from front (+ 0.8 inch; 2 cm from back).
e- Upper sleeve circumference: 9¾ (10¼, 11, 12) 13½, 15½,
17 inches; 25 (26, 28, 30½)34½, 39½, 43 cm.
Materials
Wool: approx. 1315 (1315, 1530, 1530)1750, 1750, 1860 yards; 1200 (1200, 1400, 1400)1600, 1600, 1700 meters of fingering yarn or other yarn for obtain gauge.
Needles: US 2½; 3.00 mm, US 4; 3.5 mm circular needle and dpns.
Other Notions: Stitch markers, waste yarn, cable needle, crochet hook for provisional cast on.
