The Ruffle Addendum
Sure, you’re going to want to wear this silk-blend top as sleepwear, indulging in long mornings with cool sheets and a favorite novel without ever getting out of bed. And you totally can. Or, you can power up with your favorite tailored suit, take your coffee to go, and conquer the world. The choice is yours.
The Ruffle Addendum sleeveless top features signature fine finishing (that twisted rib hem! that sleek i-cord edging! look at that little baby-doll tie!) and a quick knitting silhouette. Make it your own by leaving off the ruffle or omitting the tie. The Ruffle Addendum has gentle A-line shaping and a v-neck, and is a #sizeinclusive pattern.
CONSTRUCTION
This sleeveless top has gentle A-line shaping and a
v-neck. You’ll knit flat from the bottom up and seam, then work an applied i-cord edging to trim the neck-line and armholes. An optional ruffle is worked by picking up and knitting stitches.
Note, this pattern is one of two patterns in the Summer Dinner Party Collection. The other is Julie Cardigan, from Elizabeth Margaret Designs. Both designs feature Hummingbird, and are lacey, feminine, and ideal for summer knitting.
