This is every little girl’s dream dress! It is knit top down, and in the round for a quick knit. It is an aline shape dress. This pattern is a great stash busters for the sock knitter out there! The dress is knit out of worsted weight yarn, but the ruffles are knit with sock yarn to make the ruffles lighter weight.

I used a Wool superwash Worsted or Aran weight yarn 220 (260, 300, 340, 380, 410, 450, 490, 530) yards (estimate for short sleeves) I do not recommend using cotton for this dress because it will be too heavy with all of the ruffles.
Wool blend Sock weight yarn 240 (280, 320, 360, 400, 440, 480, 490, 530) divide by 4 or 5 if you are doing 4 or 5 different color ruffles
