The Rusty Cottage granny Square blanket is here. This is a bulky throw granny square blanket make with the classic granny pattern and that looks modern and the same time.

Pattern was written using standard US terminology.

SIZE OF THE FINISHED BLANKET:
Approximately 55” x 64” (140 cm x 162.5 cm), including the edging.

YARN:
Bulky (5)
I used Hue + Me by LionBrand, 80% Acrylic | 20% Wool. You will need a total of approximately 49 oz | 1390 g, of yarn. Here are the colors I used.
• Ozone
• Peacoat
• Arrowwood

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
Scissors
Tapestry needle

Gauge:
Gauge is not relevant. A granny square measures approximately: 8”x 8” (20 x 20 cm).

LANGUAGE:
English (US)

SKILLS:
Beginner. You will need to how to read a pattern in US terminology.
Main stitches used: chain, magic circle, single crochet and double crochet. You will need to know how to hand sew with a tapestry needle using the whip stitch, how to join the squares, how to weave in ends and fasten off. I DO NOT OFFER VIDEO TUTORIALS FOR MY PATTERNS.
