The Sarah Sweater is my perfect, super simple, everyday sweater knitted from the top down with a beautiful twisted rib detail used to finish the body, cuffs and neckline.

The Sarah Sweater is designed to have approximately 6–8 inches (15–20 cm) of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 6–8 inches (15–20 cm) larger in circumference than your bust measurement.
Suggested yarn
DK–weight yarn that matches the gauge
Pattern uses Merino DK by La Bien Aimée (100% superwash merino, 115 g = 230 meters) in colours Highgarden and Pixy Stix
Suggested needles
4 mm (US 6) needles for the body with 40–cm (16–inch) and 60–cm/80–cm (24– or 32–inch) cables
3.5 mm (US 4) needles with 60–cm (24–inch) cable or longer for the rib on the body and cuffs
3.5 mm (US 4) needles with 40–cm (16–inch) cable for the neckline
Gauge (measured after blocking)
20 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) on 4 mm (US 6) needles, knitted flat in stockinette stitch
