The scarf with the power.
What power?
The power of two-sided double knitting!

Each side of this scarf looks completely different! There are several quotes from Labyrinth, the face of David Bowie, as well as a rather complex maze that wraps around the neck (it is a legitimate maze that can be solved if you knit it correctly).

Because of the two-pattern nature of the scarf, this is not a good pattern if you have never attempted double knitting. However, it may not be as hard as you think! I have made a tutorial for double knitting, as well as a short video about how to read a two sided chart. VIEW THE VIDEO TUTORIALS HERE.

You will need two colors of light fingering weight yarn (about 430 yards of each color) and size 2 (2.75mm) needles. My favorite scarf yarn is Cascade Heritage Sock. The finished model scarf is 5.5” wide and 62” long.
