This is a beginner friendly scarf pattern designed to use two weights of yarn; chunky and a colour contrasting DK or Aran weight yarn.

There is one stitch technique which may not be familiar to all crocheters, the Crossed Double Crochet stitch. This is relatively easy to pick up and a full description of the technique is included in the pattern.
