You’ll take detailed measurements and will use them all to calculate a fit that has ease exactly the way you prefer it. You’ll need to do math, but I’ll take you through it as gently as possible, using tables that will guide you through.

When you’re done, you’ll be able to use this book to fit any other sweater you’d like to make! You’ll truly understand fit.

The book was born from many years of teaching sweater classes at my yarn shop, and wanting to get fit truly working for knitters. It’s divided into these chapters:

Chapter 2: The back to the underarm
Chapter 3: The front to the underarm
Chapter 4: The lower sleeves
Chapter 5: The set-in sleeve
Chapter 6: The yoke

Coming this summer is Chapter 7: The raglan
Coming next year is Chapter 8: Variations on a theme (how to change your ribbing styles, how to make pullovers instead of cardigans, and anything that seems to come up that people want to modify).
