The Sheep Baaaaag
This is likely the cutest bag I will ever design.
I named mine Gerald.
I truly hope you enjoy making this sheep bag and that you get a lot of joy from making one!
I worked this bag up in 4 days, working a few hours each evening.
Stitches:
CH - Chain
SL ST - Slip Stitch
SC - Single Crochet
LS - Loop Stitch
SC2TOG - Single Crochet 2 Together
LS2TOG - Loop Stitch 2 Together
TSS - Tunisian Simple Stitch (for strap only and can be subbed for a regular SC)
Materials:
Crochet Hook 6mm - 7mm
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Yarn - 6: Super Bulky
I have used Premier Parfait Chunky, a 100% polyester size 6 super bulky yarn
Colors: Cream and Black
For a sheep with a cream body and black lining, feet, ears and face:
3 Skeins Cream (393 yds)
2 Skeins Black (262 yds)
Adaptations:
My pattern testers have made some great adaptations to the pattern. Some examples are creating a backpack strap instead of a cross body strap, adding O-rings for detachable straps, adding a tail, crocheting in multiple colors. There is so much fun to be had with this pattern!
