The Sheep's in the Meadow
Stranded colorwork is the technique for knitting this little “Sheep’s in the Meadow” Lamb. Finished it measures approximately 4 1/2x3-inches. Body of lamb is a pictorial of two sheep facing each other, in a green pasture with red flowers, and the blue sky above. Add a ribbon for hanging and you’ve got a great ornament. You will need sport weight wool in the following amounts: 20 yards green, 10 yards blue, 8 yards white mohair, 5 yards red and 15 yards black. In addition to yarn you will need a set of #5 DPNs, batting, tapestry needle and a small amount of ribbon for hanging. Charts are included in the pattern for working the colorwork.
