SHELL STITCH CROCHET LACE SHRUG

*NOTES:*
The shell stitch lace pattern is easy to memorize and the construction is simple. This crochet lace shrug is made with 100% cotton yarn, which is perfect to be worn during spring, summers and winters, so you don’t have to tuck it away deep inside your wardrobe in any time of the year! The look of this crochet shrug would complement a dress, skirt or a cute tank with a pair of jeans. The Lace shrug will never go out of fashion and you can also style it with plain or colored tops in the summer and turtleneck sweaters in the winters!

• This shrug is worked in 4 rows repeat pattern, rows 2-5, 30 rows total for this project.
• The shrug is worked in one piece from bottom to top, sleeve to sleeve, increases after each
row, creating a rectangle shape. The arm holes are completed at the very end, sewing the
corners of the short edges together.
• Turn after each row, work back and forth.
• Body and sleeve of shrug is worked with the same hook.
• After sides edges are seamed, edging is worked in rounds around front opening. Edging is
optional for the project.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: about 45” across and 60” in depth, I used 1 ½ cone for this project.

chains in multiple of 10.
