The Shell Top
This pattern includes a chart, as well as, straightforward written instructions and extended written instructions to better understand the chart. It can easily be made longer, shorter, tighter or looser, but due the the breast area I would recommend it for sizes between XS to M, as this pattern was not tested for larger sizes.
Any yarn and hook can be used. I used a repurposed yarn from an old top for the red top and lighter yarn for the beige one.
To achieve a similar look I would recommend:
Yarn:Category 4
Hook: 4mm
You will also need a tapestry needle to sew in the straps.
I would consider this an intermediate pattern that is very beginner friendly as you only need to know how to do the following:
Chain, Slip Stitch, Single Crochet and Double Crochet.
Once you understand how to make the shell stitch you will be rolling and you can probably make it an afternoon or a day depending on how quick you are :) However if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to help, just drop me a text here or send me an e-mail.
