This is a pattern for a fun and easy crochet hat. It works up so quickly and can be completed in about an hour. The fun fringe closures make it a unique hat that your little one will love to touch, play with, and wear. This would be a great gift for a newborn baby or toddler, baby shower, or even to make to keep for yourself! Pattern includes directions and photo instructions for both hat closures, the double fringe closure and the silly straight closure.

Pattern is written in standard American terms and includes an abbreviation key and a material list. This is an beginner crochet pattern. A knowledge of basic crochet skills and terms is a plus.

Hook: 5mm
Gauge: 4” = 16 sts x 11 rows in stitch pattern
Sizing:
BABY – 14-16″ – 100 YDS
TODDLER – 16-18″ – 150 YDS
CHILD – 18-20″ – 250 YDS
TWEEN – 20-22″ – 300 YDS

Pattern calls for Lion Brand Pound of Love yarn but any Medium-4 weight yarn can be used.
