My love for the Skelligs and the Blaskets is intwined with my love for 2 brothers. Michael , God rest his soul, found serenity on the Skelligs and would take me for picnics on the Blaskets. We would
climb the steps to the old monestary on Skellig Michael and talk of the marvels of nature and how God and his wisdom would give such beauty to Ireland, Christy found is calling there, which led him to the priesthood. For me they are a place of contemplation, some of my biggest dillemas have been solved on those steps and on those Islands.
