The countdown for Christmas has started, and if you’d like to take your mind off this shopping madness, I made this snowman for you.

Quick and easy to make, it is beginner friendly and really calls for the bulk makes - you will end up with an army of snowmen before you know it.

Vary the colours of scarves & beanies and you have the perfect welcome gift for your guests, or a great table decoration. As soon as the tree goes up, you can dot dozens of them around the house. It is free-standing so doesn’t roll around or need to rest on anything.

I made the snowman using Drops Safran and am very happy with the result. You can make 4 snowmen with one ball of white yarn (50g - 160m). The finished character is about 10cm tall including the pompom.
