The Sol Bra
The Sol Bra is a simple, classic bikini shaped bra.
The construction of the cups is simple, with different options for how you want to knit the straps and the band around your rib cage.
Depending on what kind of yarn you choose for The Sol Bra, and what kind of straps you want, it can be used as a bikini on beach days, as a comfortable bra or a decorative top in the warmer months.
The Sol Bra is knitted from the top down. First, the two cups for the bust are knitted. They are knitted separately, using increases then the band is double knitted until it has the desired length and is then mounted on the cups.
At the end, the sts for the straps are collected and are knitted in the desired length and style you prefer. This could be adjustable straps, normal straps, straps that tie around your torso or as a halterneck.
The Sol is knitted after your individual size but an estimated yarn usage based on S (M) L (XL) XXL is written below.
