The Sophie

The Sophie Beanie is a modern take on the traditional winter beanie. Designed with handspun yarn in mind, the graduated ribbed design acccentuates the vibrant color changes found with handspun. It is a great project to spin 4oz of fiber as a 2ply DK or Worsted Weight. Commercially spun yarns also work well.

Pattern includes directions for both the traditional beanie with pompom as well as the modern beanie with a hole for your top knot bun or ponytail.

Sizes: Small (children), Medium (teens), Large (adult) included and can be adapted to make a custom fitting larger or smaller hat following pattern notes
